Terms, cancellation and house rules

Booking and payment

Bookings made on skyhaus.au are paid in full at the time of booking, in Australian dollars, by card through Stripe. Your booking is confirmed when payment succeeds, and we email you a confirmation with your booking reference. The price you see before paying is the price you pay: it includes every saving and the cleaning fee, with no booking fee added.

Cancellation

• Cancel at least 14 days before check-in: full refund.
• Cancel 7 to 13 days before check-in: 50% refund.
• Cancel less than 7 days before check-in, or don't arrive: no refund.

To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or contact us with your booking reference. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. If we ever have to cancel your stay, you get a full refund.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. Self check-in details are emailed before arrival. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by arrangement ($100).

House rules

• No smoking, parties or events. Breaches may lead to removal without refund and the charges below.
• Keep noise down between 10pm and 7am.
• Drink responsibly; no illegal activity or drugs.
• No pets. Assistance animals are welcome.
• No shoes indoors, please. Don't move furniture, and switch off the stove, lights and air conditioning when you go out.
• Never tamper with smoke alarms, cameras or other safety devices.
• Use only the designated parking space.
• Guests are responsible for damage or lost items (charged at retail replacement cost). Please report any problem straight away.

Charges that may apply

• Noise or police call-out: $200
• Unauthorised party or event: $2,000 and the booking ended
• Smoking inside: $1,000
• Illegal activity: $1,000 and police involvement
• Excessive cleaning: $250
• Lost keys: $400
• Lockout service: $250 ($200 to $300 after midnight)

A security bond of $400 may be requested at our discretion, refunded within 24 hours of check-out if the apartment is left in good condition.

Long stays

For stays of 14 nights or more we recommend a mid-stay clean (refresh, restock and full clean: $180).
